Our Story
The legacy of Speedway Machine Shop starts out with Bernie De Vera helping local automotive enthusiasts make their vehicles go faster. With him specializing in honing engine blocks, port and polish work, and custom driveshafts. With the help of his wife Estrellita V. De Vera managing the office the business grew over the decades and expanding from only automotive machining to include, specialized machining, industrial pump repair, welding, and metal fabrication. The foundation of the Speedway Legacy was strong. In 2017 their son Jonathan De Vera was tapped to take over the family business. Jonathan took what he learned from his parents and turned their small family business into the islands Premier Machine Shop and mobile welding company.
